How to Transition Your Home to Fall
Share
Simple shifts to help your space feel more like the season.
Fall is more of a feeling than a date on the calendar. Here are a few easy ways to bring the season into your space.
Switch up your scents. Trade bright, summery notes for something warmer. Think spice, wood, amber, or bakery scents. Start with your candles (our Autumn Trail collection is made for this), but don’t stop there. Try swapping out household cleaners, hand soap, and body care products to fully shift the mood.
Add texture. Bring out the throws, soft pillows, and anything you want to curl up with. Think knits, linen, and cozy, lived-in layers.
Soften the lighting. Fall is all about the glow. Use table lamps instead of overhead lights, or go for warm-toned bulbs. And of course, candles. Always candles.
Bring the outside in. Add natural touches to your home decor. Go for dried stems, branches, or neutral fall foliage. Even a bundle of eucalyptus or wheat can make a space feel seasonal.
Reset your rituals. Make your space match your pace. Light a candle in the morning. Pour a mug of something warm at night. Take the season slower, on purpose.
A few simple changes can transition your home from summer to fall. It doesn't have to be a full makeover. Just a shift in scent, texture, and pace. Fall is about feeling cozy, grounded, and a little more at home.
